Carlsbad commutes lean on two spines: I-5 for drivers and the COASTER for riders. Traffic flows south in the morning toward Sorrento Valley, Del Mar, and downtown San Diego, and north in the afternoon, so mirror your office zip against the direction you will travel.
I-5 via Poinsettia Lane or Cannon Road gives fast access to the coast and south toward Sorrento Mesa.
Poinsettia COASTER station is a short drive for rail commuters to Sorrento Valley and downtown San Diego.
